BLUE HORSES WHITE (14U)
The Blue Horses 14U team competes with focus, discipline, and purpose. At this level, athletes are expected to perform advanced skills consistently while understanding complex systems in serve-receive, transition offense, and defensive strategy. Training sessions are high-energy and detail-oriented, preparing players for strong tournament performances.
Beyond skill development, the 14U team emphasizes mental toughness, accountability, and leadership. Athletes are encouraged to set high standards for themselves and represent the Blue Horses with pride both on and off the court. Our goal is to prepare players not only for the next level of volleyball but also for the next level of personal growth.
With over 15 years of coaching experience and 20 years as a competitive player, Carlos brings passion, knowledge, and a deep love for the game to every team he leads. His coaching background spans adults, youth athletes, and competitive club programs, allowing him to connect with players at every stage of development.

As a player, he competed at a high level for two decades, including 6 years professionally and 4 years at the collegiate level, giving him firsthand experience of what it takes to succeed on and off the court. His playing career shaped his coaching philosophy: discipline, fundamentals, and continuous growth.

Carlos holds certifications from USA Volleyball (USAV) and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and is a Level 1 Coach with the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation. His commitment to professional development reflects his belief that great coaches never stop learning.

He lives by the quote, “It’s never too late to learn and reach the next level,” a mindset he instills in every athlete he trains. Whether developing beginners or preparing advanced players for elite competition, Carlos is dedicated to helping each athlete unlock their full potential.
